Born and raised in Southern California, artist, singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist Nate Ooten was privileged to be exposed to many different styles and genres of music. Nates love of piano developed his writing abilities with acoustic guitar, bass, drums and other instruments. These skills have given Nate the unique ability to create organically and bring life to his music.

In 2018, after the release of his debut EP Waves, Nate continued to write and produce his self-titled debut album. While playing acoustic guitar in Charlie Bereal’s band, Nate gained priceless experience opening for Brittany Howard at the Filmore in Philadelphia, and House of Blues in Boston. His self-produced, written and arranged album features catchy melodies accompanied by laid back acoustic guitars and funky bass lines. Performing most of the instrumentation on his project, Nate makes a bold yet necessary statement of his identity as an artist. His organic approach to the recording process creates a fresh vibe that the world needs.
